Radboud university medical center is one of eight university medical centers in The Netherlands. With nearly 9,000 employees and 3,000 students, Radboudumc combines patient care, research, and education/training. The department of Human Genetics within the Radboudumc is an internationally top-ranking genetics group and among the largest centre for genetics research, clinical diagnostics and genetic counselling in Europe.Neuroscience research in Nijmegen is concentrated in the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour. The Donders Institute is a world-renowned centre of neuroscience research expertise. We are a relatively young institute with an enterprising spirit and an excellent track record of research on Brain, Cognition and Behaviour. Over 500 researchers work here on unravelling the mechanisms of the brain. Our research includes cognition and behaviour in humans as well as on the neuronal substrate, including the genetic, molecular and cellular processes that underlie cognition and behaviour. We cover the full spectrum of research ‘from Molecule to Man'.
